To obtain high yields, blueberry seedlings shall be planted on plots with a lot of light. The root system of blueberries consists mainly of delicate thin roots, which are 80% very close to the surface. Due to the absence of root hairs, they have a relatively low absorption capacity. Blueberry roots are unable to overcome dense soil surfaces, and require soils that are loose and well-drained, with a good organic matter content (3% to 5%) and acidity (pH) of 4.5-5.0.

The soil must be constantly moistened. Lack of moisture can lead to a decrease in the level of fruiting and even death of the plant. Excessive watering is also unacceptable. Blueberries do not need shelter for the winter. Some of their varieties are able to withstand temperatures as low as -28 degrees, and below.
We will help you choose blueberry seedlings that will yield a bountiful harvest of sweet and large berries. Our specialists will help you with the choice of the variety and other necessary conditions.
