RUSSIAN PEAT COMPANY takes part in the 14th exhibition and conference of the Russian Nursery Stock Association with the theme, “Green Industry in a New Reality. Development Opportunities”

The major annual industry forum of the Russian Nursery Stock Association took place at the Snegiri health resort on February 10-12, 2021. Goods and services of Association members – suppliers of plants, equipment, substrates, containers and fertilizers, landscape designers and landscaping specialists from all segments of the Russian green industry – were displayed on the forum sidelines. Russian Peat Company (RPC) presented its products – greenhouse peat soils and substrates – for the attention of colleagues.

The conference addressed a broad range of issues, such as regulations, industry standards, plant growing technologies, and modern methods of the promotion of nursery products. As a newcomer to the Association, RPC LLC opened the conference with the introductory speech by General Director Sergey Merzlyakov. The company joined the Association a short time ago, but its contribution to the legislative activity already won the appreciation of industry professionals, who also noted the high quality of RPC products displayed at the exhibition.

Traditionally, the Association conference was attended by numerous acclaimed politicians and public figures: Russian Communist Party Central Committee Chairman, head of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma Gennady Zyuganov, member of the Russian Agriculture Ministry’s Public Council, Chairman of the Union of Gardeners national public organization Andrey Tumanov, President of the Russian Association of Landscape Architects (ALAROS) Taisia Volftrub, Opora Russia First Vice President, Russky Ogorod Group President Vladislav Korochkin, and representatives of landscaping festivals and professional associations of the green market.
